This is the magical view from the top of Ward Hill on Fair Isle, the remotest inhabited island in the UK. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend an incredible four days there – and I couldn’t go all that way and not climb the highest point on the island, now, could I!
A mere 217m but with astounding 360 degree views. Fair Isle, Fridarey, ‘the island of peace and tranquillity’ – a place I’ll never forget and can’t wait to return back to.
