These sheep couldn’t be happier with their place to graze. And I don’t blame them. From the top of the hill fort at Badbury Rings, near Kingston Lacy, you get a wonderful view of the Dorset countryside. Follow the trail from the National Trust car park up to The Oaks, first, and wander among these ancient trees. Then wind your way back and climb up to the top of the Iron Age Badbury Rings. Blustery days are my favourite for blowing away the cobwebs and a sense of renewal. Walking trail, here (Note: I did it in reverse).
